WORKING CONDITIONS

 

This position is, in the normal course of events, office bound. Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most employees are working from home. PURPOSE
The main purpose of the Programme Manager role is to effectively co-ordinate the projects within a programme, managing both the dependencies and interfaces between projects as well as oversight of any risks and issues arising. Through planning, monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action, the Programme Manager drives the successful outcome of the programme.

Responsibilities include planning activities, including milestones, risk plans, and a master plan for their programme. A Programme Manager is also responsible for the time and budget management of their programme, the delivery of the agreed objectives, as well as managing the stakeholder relationships within their programme across various streams.

Lead Programme Management – Provide insight into Programme status. Alignment of deliverables and implementation expectation
Head EPMO – Escalation for Programme Management related items
Lead Quality Assurance and Lead Risk Management – Alignment to Quality Assurance and Risk Management requirements for Programme Management
Internal, Bank and Service Provider Project Managers – Oversight of project delivery as it relates to dependencies and interfaces between projects within a programme
Lead Change Navigation – Programme Change Navigation oversight
Stakeholders – Stakeholder relationship management. These are individuals with an interest or concern in a programme and who are impacted by the programme outcome

QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE (INCLUDING THE MOST RELEVANT)
Relevant B degree
PgMP certification
PMP certification
Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Programme Management Applications (Project Portfolio Office will be an advantage)

EXPERIENCE (INCLUDNG THE MOST RELEVANT INDUTRY SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Programme Management and Information Technology would be avantages.
Experience in Payments and Banking industry will be an advantage
Experience in programme and project management methods
Experience in Digital Identity landscape; onboarding (FICA, KYC, AML etc.), secure digital identification, electronic signature and related solutions will be an advantage
Experience with Proof of Concepts, MVPs, and full-scale deployments
