WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are looking for an intermediate level System Analyst to join our Development Realtime – Online team reporting into the Manager Real Time where you will be responsible for analysing and designing new and current product solutions. This entails updating, maintaining, revising current and new processes, specifications, manuals, mandates and other documents pertaining to our existing and new products and systems. That includes implementing new solutions with the goal to improve overall business efficiency. You will be working with our team of engineers and developers who are proficient in IT, programming and software development.

The ability to work in a team, excellent communication and people skills are required for this role

You will engage with the following stakeholders:

  • Internal and External stakeholders

Your key responsibilities include:

Analysis and Design

  • Elicit Business Requirements
  • Perform a functional /Logical design of the proposed solution/system
  • Document functional specifications for new or modified systems
  • Prepare Enterprise Data Models, Logical Models and Process Models for the proposed solution
  • Document /Contribute to compilation of test cases
  • Document systems problems and resolutions
  • Assist and guides prospective users of proposed system/solution in qualifying the benefits of the solution/system
  • Presentation skills and tools

Support

  • Interact with developers in order to give clarity on documented requirements and design (e.g. Business processes, Enterprise architecture and used cases)
  • Document / contribute to user manuals
  • Provide training to internal and external system users
  • Perform testing of the newly designed / changed system
  • Document walkthrough with internal / external stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Product knowledge – End to End Cash Supply Chain, Cash Lodgement Processes and Cash supply chain

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in:
  • Business Process Modelling
  • Systems Development Methodologies, such as Agile Methodology
  • System Development Frameworks
  • Analysis and Design Methods
  • Enterprise Data Modelling
  • Requirements gathering and its Techniques
  • Document Writing skills
  • Designing and Compilation of Used cases
  • Reverse Engineering
  • Entity Relationship Modelling and SQL reporting
  • Understanding of stakeholders and their roles within cash lodgement
  • Back in Bank cash management and reconciliation
  • Interbank Settlement and Reconciliation
