Requirements

A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Consultant

The purpose of this role is to support Rentokil Initial Sub Saharan Africa by building brand equity and driving business results and continuous growth of the business’ sales and profits. The role involves the creation and implementation of the region’s marketing strategy in line with the overall commercial strategy. This person will lead a core marketing team based in South Africa with indirect reports based locally as well as within the Sub-Saharan Africa region. A large portion of your time will be focused on the South African operation.

In this role, the Sales Consultant will focus on the objectives of building a cohesive messaging, digital marketing strategy and market positioning strategy reflective of an industry leader, while consistently generating new high-quality marketing and sales leads. This role serves as a key point of contact for internal teams; creative, content, lead generation, events, and online functions, as well as the respective cross-functional teams within sales, operations, and the larger regional organisation.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior marketing role
  • Evidence of sufficient experience to demonstrate ability
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Inbound and Outbound marketing with experience on HubSpot and/or Adobe Campaign is preferred
  • Strong commitment to world-class customer service
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management, good organisation skills and know how to prioritise
  • Strong decision making, attention to detail, change management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure

KEY WORK OUTPUTS and

  • Develop and lead a high functioning team of Marketers and Customer Support Colleagues.
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy in line with business requirements.
  • Provision of detailed analysis, tracking and monitoring of all aspects of marketing and innovation activities.
  • Develop and manage content for various mediums to support enquiry generation, sales enablement, internal lead generation, innovation and brand leadership.
  • Develop strategies in order to drive the above through our channels including digital marketing (organic and paid), inbound marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, social media, trade publications, industry news, social selling and advertising.
  • Work with the Technical, Sales, Operational and Finance teams in order to launch successful innovations into the business.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Operations and more) to execute marketing plans.
  • Write clear and concise for business-to-business operational communications and business-to-business marketing communications, including the C-suite
  • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics.
  • Custodian of brand and customer promise.
  • Support the Call Centre in residential pest sales, lead and enquiry qualification, complaints management and NPS scoring (CVC).
  • Responsible for tracking expenses against budget, and reporting return on investment regularly to the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Meet tight deadlines and fast-turnaround requests.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

The purpose of this role is to assist with admin and general office support within RISA, that includes but is not limited to, myRentokil and it’s website. The role ensures that adequate customer digital product support is provided to all stakeholders including UAT, set up, from start to finish, training and final user support

  • Assist and support UAT for myRentokil and myAdmin upgrades in SSA (where applicable)
    • Roll out of any upgrades/enhancements on myRentokil / myAdmin to Sales, Service and Admin as well as customers throughout SSA
    • Provide support to all colleagues and clients on technical and practical usage of Websites
    • Managing open tasks and corresponding with branches to action any outstanding matters
    • Assist and Support the setup of customer myRentokil sites
    • Continuous monitoring of service levels and updating of systems, including UAT
    • Maintain relationships with RI Group Digital Product owners
    • Liaise with internal customers to book follow up treatments and other myRentokil related queries
    • Receive all incoming myRentokil related enquiries and ensure action response
    • Conduct weekly audits of all new installations in the respective month
    • Audit myRentokil websites monthly to ensure branches are delivering on customer promise and service delivery
    • Checking users and sites are set up correctly
    • Ensure that customer training on systems and websites is efficiently implemented by the sales consultants through ongoing support
    • Maintain and monitor myRentokil / website
    • Assist clients with queries regarding myRentokil Ensure site plans are correctly uploaded and detectors saved to corresponding location numbers
    • Assist with drawing sitemaps & uploading to myAdmin
    • Upload customer & company documentation to myAdminSetting up / Reassigning users to the correct premises
    • Set up automated customer reports to assist branches where required
    • Ensure all sensitive customer information is handled as per POPIA

Skills

  • Knowledge of plans – drawing and uploading
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and enhancements
  • Good numeracy skills Knowledge or understanding of ICABS, myRentokil and ServiceTrak etc, an advantage
