The Sr Analyst will conduct regular quality assessments, amend /create and audit processes, identify training needs and compliance risks as well as assist with the development of training material for all operational areas within South African and Rest of Africa

Impact You’ll Make:
Process Management:
  • All existing and new TransUnion Africa operational processes must be documented and mapped to comply with local and global policies, regulations and industry requirements where applicable and conform to global best practices.
  • Accountable for the amendment of existing as well as the creation of new processes where required.
  • Processes must be submitted to the Advisor, Customer Support QA for review and approval.
  • All operations processes relating to the TransUnion Africa regions must be saved in a central repository for compliance and audit requirements.
Audit:
  • Record annual audit deficiencies for the TransUnion Africa regions and save in a central repository
  • Extract random sample of calls logged and conduct audits according to compliance requirements applicable to the TransUnion Africa regions
  • Submit audit deficiencies and recommendations to the Advisor, Customer Support QA
  • Re-evaluate identified audit deficiencies to ensure remediation and compliance
Quality Assurance:
  • Extract % of voice recordings as determined by the Advisor, Customer Support QA ensure compliance and adherence with TransUnion Policies and Procedures for the TransUnion Africa regions
  • Extract % of case management as determined by the Advisor, Customer Support QA in order to perform the necessary case quality monitoring, ensuring compliance and adherence with policies and procedures for the TransUnion Africa regions
  • Score calls according to the quality assurance scorecard for each line of business within the TransUnion Africa regions and submit results to the Advisor, Customer Support QA Identify. A
  • Identify potential fraudulent activities in line with operational and compliance standards and requirements and submit monthly / quarterly reports to the Advisor, Customer Support QA
  • Submit training needs identified and recommendations for improvement to Advisor, Customer Support QA
  • Monitor improvements subsequent to training conducted and submit audit findings to Advisor, Customer Support QA
Operational Training:
  • Initiate the development of new training material and continuous update of existing material for projects, products, systems and legislation for the TransUnion Africa regions
  • Conduct training where required and a handover of new training material to the appropriate trainer when training has been completed.
  • Monitor and verify that agent training took place and determine whether knowledge has been transferred and implemented within the TransUnion Africa regions

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for a media evaluation, communications planning and coordination professional to join TransUnion as an Analyst in our International Public Relations and Corporate Communications team (part of the Global Corporate Affairs and Communications team) based in the virtual Global Capability Center in South Africa. This person will join a dynamic communications team that helps build, protect and monitor TransUnion’s reputation with key stakeholders worldwide. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across TransUnion’s International markets as well as the U.S.

You will have primary accountability for tracking media coverage and its evaluation (including reports for quarterly PR programs across 30+ markets out of 8 primary Hubs) and wider activity support (including but not limited to calendar coordination, project and production support, liaising with other channels such as social, web and design).

You will partner with colleagues in the Corporate Affairs and Communications, and Brand Management and Marketing teams to effectively track TransUnion and competitor activity and provide the insights to evaluate PR activity success and inform future strategy and activity. Monitoring duties will also support issues-based work as required – tracking coverage across all forms of media (including print, online, broadcast, social etc.).

You will also help coordinate International PR activity, liaising with our International teams (and agencies where appropriate) to keep an up-to-date view of upcoming communications activity. Other aspects of the role include calendars, project coordination and production (working with creative teams in other disciplines).

The successful candidate for this role will need to be flexible in their approach and accommodate evolving requests and technology, and support on other cross-regional (International region) activity as required. This may also include online press office activity and other related tasks.

You will also work with colleagues across our wider marketing organisation in the U.S. and International markets. There will be opportunities to get involved in a range of projects, spanning B2B, corporate and B2C activity.

This role will suit someone who has a basic knowledge of media monitoring and evaluation and/or a coordination role but wants to enhance their skills and shape the evolving capabilities of a growing communications team.
