- The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for the following:
- Capture all employee information on the clock-in system and provide information to the Payroll Practitioner for all payroll purposes.
- Oversee recruitment, screening, and induction of all wage employees.
- Ensure wage employees’ contracts and information are up to date at all times.
- Co-ordinate all skills related to training on-site.
- Capture and prepare all information for annual Workplace Skills Plan and Employment Equity plan submissions.
- Advice and support on-site management regarding the interpretation and/or implementation of relevant labour legislation and policies/procedures.
- Assist employees with queries on policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience

- A 3-year National Diploma or B Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent.
- 2 years’ relevant experience in similar role.
Knowledge
- Basic Human Resource legislation, especially those relevant to everyday operations, i.e. BCEA, LRA, etc.
- Working knowledge of Skills Development and Equity Acts.
- Knowledge of Farm Trace and VIP will be advantageous.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and able to travel frequently.
